Man accused of killing 2 neighborhood cats in Glenview

GLENVIEW, Sick. — On a tranquil avenue in Glenview Monday, a homeowner identified her cat dead in her neighbor’s trash can.

Neighbors instructed WGN News that they have observed several cats roaming in yards in the 3400 block of Ralmark Lane. According to police, Lovell Johnstone, 64, experienced threatened his neighbor — saying he would kill her cat after proclaiming it saved bothering his pet.

On Sunday, the woman stated Johnstone sent her a threatening textual content information. The following day, she smelled some thing foul coming from his rubbish bin.

The lady lifted the lid and found her pet cat inside of together with a further cat. A veterinarian later on identified both animals had been drowned.
