PILSEN — It is been a 12 months since Pocha Animals Boutique owner Cynthia Soto opened a retail store in Pilsen to market clothes for puppies and cats just after getting rid of her task all through the pandemic.
To commemorate the anniversary and thank the group, Soto is keeping a pop-up this weekend at her 1840 S. Racine Ave. store.
Shoppers can deliver their pets and love a complimentary champagne toast, taco bar, “pawpcakes” and much more noon-6 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. A full list of participating distributors can be uncovered on Pocha’s Fb website page.

Soto credits a great deal of Pocha’s success to the “tremendous” love she’s gotten from the neighborhood.
“The group has supported us a ton,” Soto stated.
Little businesses in Pilsen distribute phrase about Soto’s shop when she opened, and shoppers suggested it to other individuals, she said.
In turn, Soto enjoys supporting other up-and-coming tiny enterprises by means of pop-ups at her store, she claimed.
