A bride in Texas caught a large fish on the same day she mentioned, “I do.”

Eliot Granville, 34, of San Antonio, Texas, reeled in a black drum hrs immediately after she married Earnie Granville on May perhaps 22 in the city of Port Aransas.

After the ceremony – which Eliot Granville’s mom officiated – the newlyweds held a little reception for their guests at a nearby house in which they and their speedy family members were being keeping.

As anyone was settling in for the night time, Granville and her husband decided to go fishing at about 10 p.m. 

Granville experienced adjusted out of her wedding day robe and stepped into a white reception gown, which she wore to the fishing pier.

For the initially 45 minutes of fishing, the fish kept having Granville’s bait and leaving. Eventually, she felt a tug on her line and she went into motion, she said.

“And then I realized that there was actually a fish on there,” she added. 

Because the line on the fishing pole was so slim, Granville said she was mindful about how she reeled in the fish.

Just after about 10 to 15 minutes, she received the fish near to the pier. Earnie borrowed someone’s net and collectively, the newlyweds and some nearby fisherman obtained the drum on to the pier. 

“Everybody’s adrenaline was likely,” Granville reported. “We had been so excited. We acquired him up there and I was shocked at how huge he was.”

Granville explained the fishermen believed the drum was about 50 lbs ..
