The Labrador retriever has been tabbed the most well-known dog breed in the United States for the 31st consecutive year, in accordance to the American Kennel Club (AKC).
The breed beat out 196 other regarded breeds to consider home the honor.
The AKC factors to Labs’ temperament and flexibility as two attributes that preserve them favorites between American households.
Rounding out the best five ended up, in order, French bulldogs, golden retrievers, German shepherds and poodles, the latter of which moved again into the major five for the very first time since 1997, AKC reported.
Rounding out the best 10, in get, are bulldogs, beagles, Rottweilers, German shorthaired pointers and dachshunds.
